Wagering on sports games is legal in New York on a rather limited basis, but it could be expanded in the coming months. Currently, four commercial casinos and five tribal casinos are permitted to allow on-site wagering, but a wider audience could enjoy mobile sports wagering all across the state if bill S17 is expanded.
